Genre: Thriller

Idea 1: Male character (C1) moves to a new town and starts a new college, the boy is in a new situation and makes friends with the first person he came into contact with (character 2). Start hanging around after college together. After a couple weeks character 1 and character 2 are just hanging out at character 2’s home (a small council house, very cramped, tells the audience the characters background and status). C2 then gets these pills out of his bedside draw and tells C1 that he is selling them and asks if he would like some, C1 rejects the offer and C2 takes it the wrong way says “Do you think your better than me?” “Look you’re new around here; you need me to help you survive in this place!” C1 tries to leave the house but C2 stands in his way and blocks the door so he can’t get out, “please just buy some from me, look at this place, I need the money”. C1 storms past C2 to get out of his house knocks him over and he bangs his head on a coffee table, C1 sprints off home, leaves him unconscious. In the next coming weeks C2 and his other friends who he sells drugs with start to attack and abuse C1. They force feed him drugs, beat him up and abuse him through social networking. This starts to get to him more and more till he kills them/kills himself. 

Genre: Thriller/Drama/Suspense 

Idea 2: John and Jack are walking down a street, laughing and talking, John walks off into a pub to nip to the toilet tells Jack he will meet him down the road, Jack continues to walk down the street then a shot of John in the toilets sending a message saying "DO IT", then goes back to Jack walking down the street where he gets hit over the head and knocked out. John  wakes up in an empty room at the side of him of he finds a phone. He soon realises he is locked in this room and sees a camera watching him and within seconds the phone starts to ring. Jack has it explained to him that he needs to get the man £25,000 within three days. Tells him he has one phone call to make sure he gets him the money and explains if he gets the police involved he won't hesitate to kill him. Jack calls John and gives him all his bank details to get the money out of his bank account. John agrees and says he'll get the money together within 24 hours. Then see John with a briefcase full of Jacks money and then a shot of him leaving with the money, audience then realises that he has played Jack for his money and will leave him for dead.  Final shot of the door of the room that he the man is trapped in.
