Icon Productions LLC is an American independent production company founded in August 1989 by actor/director Mel Gibson and Australian producing partner Bruce Davey.
Icon productions would be a good distributor for our film because the genre of our film is a crime thriller and Icon productions have made several thriller films similar to outs such as Buried, Your next and Edge of darkness. Our film is aimed at 15-40 year olds and icon productions has made several 15 rated films so it will know how to censor films to suit the age certificate. Icon productions is a independent distributor which will suit our film because we have a niche target market and independent distributors make more effort in distributing the film more than marketing the film which is ideal as we don't need a large budget to make our film.
