Analysis of similar short film

"A MESSAGE FROM FALLUJAH":
This is a Short thriller film directed by Richard Gibson and co-written by Shane Briant.

Title Sequences:
This film has a very brief title sequence at the start of the film as it starts by showing the Production company of the film which is "Luscious International Pictures". The black background with the Faded white writing. This is a reflection of the films genre and what happens in the film, as this film is about the "darkness" of the war in Iraq over-ruling the light. As in this film even when "Daniel Crane" the American civilian engineer who was kidnapped escapes he still can't escape from the horrific attacks on the Iraqis,  The faded white writing is faded because this shows Daniel's likelihood of survival as when he escapes he thinks he will survive (The bright white writing) But as the attack continues the writing fades just as his chance of survival does.

Furthermore, the rest of the title sequences follow this same theme as you can see from the examples on the left hand and right hand side. Small white writing, dominated by big black spaces (darkness).

In the title sequence the screenshot below is shown, this is the Title of the film, and this writing which is broken up and looks damaged with the blue/green background sliding to a dark black background. This represents Iraq as a country with the words as they are damaged and look as if they have been under attack, just like the country. The background shows the dusky colour scheme of the film.

Linear/Non Linear: This film is a Non-Linear film as Daniel continuously keeps having flashbacks of his family when he is trapped. This means it isn't a continuous story. As, during the action of him being kidnapped and then kept prisoner the flashbacks of the images of his wife and child keep appearing to show what his primary thoughts are.
