The audience of our Final Film would most likely be males aged 14-50. The reason for the audience more likely to be males is because males are more likely to be interested to enjoy this film as it involves an element of crime which therefore involves factors such as violence, dominance, kidnap and money issues. Males tend to be more interested in this type of film as it has masculine characteristics, and fast paced themes. Also some crime thriller films involve things such as car chases which males often find interesting and a key element to a film. The age begins at the age 15 as the film would be a certificate 12A however the film may still be a bit too old for 12/13 year olds therefore 14/15 may be a more suitable audience age, plus boys from 14/15 will start to understand these films more and will be more mature to watching it at this age than any other younger age. The age then cuts off at 50 as males will still be interested in these type of films at that age.
The audience would be from the UK region as our film is based in the UK therefore the audience will be able to relate to the film better as they may have visited the location our film is in, or even live nearby or in that location. The audience will be interested in similar films and genre as ours is and will watch other types of thriller and crime films. They may also be interested in the genre of action as that has some similar characteristics to Crime or Thriller films. Similar films our audience will be interested in will be films such as Loan Shark, Ransom, Taken, Training Day, Man On Fire and Buried. All these films have very similar features to our film such as kidnap, ransom, violence and money.

Why our final film would be a certificate 12A..
The 12A certificate means no one under the age of 12 may see the film and must be accompanied by an adult. The reason our film is a 12A is because our film contains no strong language, no discriminatory aggressive language, very little moderate violence (a hit over the head), very little psychical threat is shown, no sexual behaviour is shown in our film and no drug use.
